Ivan Cameron

25 Feb

I cannot, for a single second, understand what David and Samantha Cameron must be going through right now.

I know people who have lost children, even one whose child lived with illness all his young life, only to succumb to leukaemia at around the same age as poor Ivan – nothing can compare to the helpless devastation Ivan’s parents must be experiencing.

I’m not going to go on. Enough will be written. But needless to say, we all send our condolences and thoughts to the Cameron family.

Absolutely seconded.Much as for Jade Goody – nobody deserves that to happen, no matter how dislikeable they may be.

One day, children with such terrible illnesses will be a thing of the past.Which is both a blessing and a curse.

In response to Daniel, I hope so too, but our severely disabled son who also has cerebral palsy and epilepsy, has it thanks to medical neglect. It is not an illness which can be irradicated. Most of these childrens conditions are man made by man error. My prayers are with them.

when i heard about the camerons sad loss i felt an unexpected sympathy, all too often we can forget that political figures are human beings behind thier rhetoric.expressions of sympathy may seem hollow at this time but i remain saddened by thier bereavement and hope the whole family recieves whatever support they need to come to terms with this very personal tragedy

ever since i heard of ivan’s sad death, although i live in a country far, far away and this was the first i ever heard of his condition, i have not been able to stop thinking of this little beautiful boy. i burst out in tears ever so often every time of think of him. parents the world over are grief-stricken. what it must be like for his living parents and siblings i can;t even start to imagine. rest in peace, little ivan.
