pc goawn mad, i tells yer!

7 Sep

A petition to the 10 Downing Street Site: –

“We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to request that Leicestershire Social Services fulfil their statutory obligation to investigate the circumstances which led to 3 year old Madeleine McCann and her younger siblings being left unattended in an unlocked, ground floor hotel room.

We ask that the Prime Minister do this to reflect an evenhanded approach to the important issue of child protection.

We also wish to ensure that no parent will ever be able to evade responsibility for the safety and welfare of their children by citing the example of Mr and Mrs McCann, whose negligence is unreasonably being discounted in the tidal wave of sympathy brought about as a consequence of their media campaign”.

Submitted by Ms Marilyn BAKER

“Now would be a good time for that investigation methinks.”Oh come now, tyger. You’re normally much more compassionate than this. :)Investigation or no, those parents will pay for their error for the rest of their lives.Even if there is need for the investigation being petitioned for, I would argue, on compassionate grounds that *now* would not be a good time for it. Assuming they are not guilty of murdering their daughter, those parents are being suspected by Portuguese police of something they did not do. Can you imagine how they must be feeling? In light of that, why can this investigation not wait?

Oh come now, tyger. You’re normally much more compassionate than this. ~ BelI know you’re not trying to appeal to my compassionate side, Bel? A staggeringly futile endeavour. ;)Something is not quite right about this whole episode. Until it is resolved, I’ll reserve my pity for the McCann’s. The public outpouring of pseudo-grief and compassion is mawkish in the extreme. I just wish the British people gave as much thought to the thousands of children who die all across the world every day.

tyger likes perfection and hates “hypocrisy”. but he goes too far. if the public grieve and show compassion then it is genuine. and should be accepted as such. Having said that. the whole episode is extraordinary.

Noone knows all the facts of the matter and it is wicked and downright evil of people like Marilyn Baker to set up a petition to the Social Services as she cannot know what really happened.Until either Madeline is found or those responsible for her abduction et al are brought to justice noone is in any position to sling mud.For God’s sake let us give the McCanns the benefit of the doubt, unless of course, you are the all seeing, all knowing, pure as a lily Ms Baker

a million quid had been given to the McCanns, based on trust. That trust does not exist anymore.

As much as leftwing scum like the boys Heath and Lambert hate it, good old English common law operates under the assumption that everyone is innocent until proven guility beyond any reasonable doubt. As such the McCanns have my support and sympathy until it can be proven all beyond reasonable doubt that they directly caused they daughter’s almost-certain death.

te heheeI hope wiped your feet before you came in here C4?I’m unaware as to where I implicated the McCanns DIRECTLY? It is FACT, my small-minded friend, that the McCann’s did abandoned their children on the night of Madeleine’s disappearance. This is the point of this post – as you would know, had you read it prior to your tirade…Of course conservatives such as yourself would demand that laws are upheld, and that the authorities “fulfil their statutory obligation to investigate the circumstances which led to 3 year old Madeleine McCann and her younger siblings being left unattended in an unlocked, ground floor hotel room.”It’s all about finding out what really happened. Surely you want that, no?

Your faux-sympathy for the McCanns fools no one.As a libertarian Conservative, I defend your right to express you bile as much as I do for your BNP comrades (the BNP being a leftwing organisation), yet also as a libertarian Conservative, I do have to right to criticise what I consider your foul and evil views.

Are you reading that clap-trap from a book? Libertarian Conservatism for Fuckwit-Moron’s, perchance?I know not why you wrote that comment – no-one here challenged your right to make a tit of yourself. Feel empowered my “libertarian Conservative.”What faux-sympathy for the McCann’s? Where did I express any sympathy for the parents, huh? As ever, you are constructing a straw-man based on your assumptions rather than debate based on evidence. I fear you’re wasting everyone’s time.I’m a father, C4, I do grieve for any missing children. And, as you’re enquiring, I do feel for the parents – even if they may know more than they’re letting-on. Whether you can understand that C4, I don’t know. I fear not.

can anything be worse than a loss of a child?hard to imagine what that can be. Having said that it is hard to fathom why the grieving parents would need the services of PR firms (see below).http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2007/09/12/nosplit/nmaddy912.xml>The family source said: “I don’t know [what they are going to do]; that is one of the routes they can go down. Money is going to be a big problem I think. PR firms and law firms are not cheap and it is clear the fund will not be for legal advice but that is the least of their worries now.”

The reason the boy Heath and the granny-killer John “I’ve got Aspegers’ therefore I’m above the time-honoured conventions of society” Hirst hate the McCanns is because they are middle-class. They snobby is typical of the mental illness that is socialism.
